Meet Dr. Jess Snow PT, DPT
Physical Therapist -Ā Midlothian
Dr. Jess received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Sam Houston State University. Prior to transferring to SHSU to complete her coursework, she played volleyball at McNeese State University as a defensive specialist. Throughout undergrad she worked as a camp counselor and an on-campus tour guide. Dr. Jess went on to study and receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She was an Ambassador for the School of Health Professions and was active in intramural sports throughout PT school.
Dr. Jess was born and raised in Montgomery, TX. She grew up playing tournament softball, club volleyball, and showing animals in 4-H. In 2019, she moved to Waxahachie and has fallen in love with that sweet little town.
Growing up playing various sports and experiencing different injuries gave Dr. Jess a passion to work with and alongside female athletes. She desires to encourage and support women in finding their voice in their healthcare journey. She has a special place in her heart for pre/postnatal care and strives to help women return to the things that they enjoy doing. She has completed post-professional training in pelvic health therapy and holds a certification in Dry Needling.
In her spare time, Dr. Jess loves spending time with her husband, Michael, and their dog, Harley Jo. They are involved in their local church and enjoy spending time with their families. She enjoys creating and completing crossfit style workouts in their garage gym. She delights in the outdoors and has a goal to visit every National Park in her lifetime.
