Meet Dr. Lauren Galipp, OT
Pelvic Health & Pediatric Occupational Therapist
Dr. Lauren Galipp received her Bachelor of Science in Health from Texas A&M University in 2009. She knew then that she would go on to pursue Occupational Therapy but chose to stay home with her kids until they were school aged. During this time she owned a FIT4MOM franchise in the DFW area and served as a prenatal and postnatal fitness instructor. In 2020, she began OT school and graduated with her doctorate in 2023.
She has experience in both pelvic floor and early childhood intervention settings which she combined with continuing education that has prepared her to offer both pediatric pelvic floor and general pediatric OT at Genesis. She enjoys treating both moms and children with the strong belief that the wellness of each greatly influences one another. Prior pediatric experience includes treating chronic constipation, day and night time wetting past potty training age, urinary or bowel leakage, neurological and genetic disorders, premature birth and transition home from the NICU, Torticollis and Plagiocephaly, motor delays, primitive reflex integration, sensory processing challenges, neurodivergent accommodations, feeding difficulties (breast, bottle, solid foods), and she holds a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist certification. Dr. Lauren also treats women for general pelvic floor concerns and particularly enjoys working on nervous system down regulation impacting pain and stress levels, and with postpartum moms as they adjust to the new roles and routines of motherhood.
In her free time, she enjoys camping with her family, patio restaurants, yoga, running, and spending time with her three dogs. She is married to her high school sweetheart, David, and they have three children (11, 9, and 7) who are part-time homeschooled in a university model school.
