Dr. Lauren has experience in both pelvic floor and early childhood intervention settings which she combined with continuing education that has prepared her to offer both pediatric pelvic floor and general pediatric OT at Genesis. She enjoys treating both moms and children with the strong belief that the wellness of each greatly influences one another. Prior pediatric experience includes treating chronic constipation, day and night time wetting past potty training age, urinary or bowel leakage, neurological and genetic disorders, premature birth and transition home from the NICU, Torticollis and Plagiocephaly, motor delays, primitive reflex integration, sensory processing challenges, neurodivergent accommodations, feeding difficulties (breast, bottle, solid foods), and she holds a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist certification. Dr. Lea is a Pediatric Pelvic Health And Women’s Health specialist. She holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy, Masters in Physical Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Physical therapy. She is also the author of The Day I Learned books!!
